Over the last few decades there has been an increase in the number of women and girls taking part in sport and exercise – both at a recreational and elite level. As a result, there is a growing demand to raise awareness and improve knowledge of female specific factors as well as develop and disseminate effective strategies that will help to optimise health, participation, and performance/training in female athletes.

The first installment of the SHE Female Athlete Education Resources are aimed at female athletes (whether you train for fun or compete at an elite level), and those working with them, and have been designed to share the latest research and advice on all things relating to female athletes, to help you make evidence-informed decisions.
