The Effectiveness of a Co-Created Sit Less - Move More Home-Office Intervention to Modify Activity Behaviours

The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in a drastic switch from office-based work to remote working, or a hybrid of both. Remote working has been shown to further increase sedentary behaviours. This initial phase of this project aims to understand the barriers and facilitators to reducing sedentary behaviours whilst working remotely from both an employee and employer’s perspective. Subsequently, these findings will be used to form an intervention that targets a reduction in sedentary behaviours whilst working remotely. Ultimately, this project will evaluate the effectiveness of this intervention on work and health-related markers.
